Did you know there’s a way to stop mid-air in WoW Classic?

If you press Alt+F4, it instantly closes your game — and since character movement is client-side, your character freezes in place, even if they’re falling.

When you log back in, you continue falling from that exact spot — sometimes taking reduced fall damage. Or better yet, you can use Blizzard’s stuck character service to teleport to a graveyard instead and stay completely safe.

This trick is especially helpful in Hardcore, where falling into the void or missing a jump can mean game over.
